Xbox reiterates that its next console will be part of a vast ecosystem

Once again, Sarah Bond, president of Xbox, discussed the next Xbox in an interview with Fortune Magazine. Without revealing any truly new details, the head of the American brand emphasized several points.

During the interview, Bond reiterated her desire to offer a “powerful” experience to future buyers of the machine. The primary goal is to allow them to access their game library on multiple devices.

“We are working on our next-generation console. It will be a powerful experience that will also allow players to take their library with them. This is a key point: we know that while players definitely want to play their games on console, they also want to be able to play them on PC or stream them via the cloud.

So the Xbox experience starts with the console, but then offers users something they can discover on all their screens if they want, taking their library, community, identity, and store with them wherever they go.”
