Upon joining XBOX as CEO, Asha Sharma assembled a new team. Among them was Jared Palmer, the company’s vice president of engineering.
Coming from Microsoft’s CoreAI division, Palmer’s tenure in the gaming division was short-lived to say something, as we’ve learned that he has already left his position. In the end, he spent only three months at XBOX. He has announced on X that he has joined Cognition, another firm specializing in AI, to lead its engineering efforts.
At Xbox, Jared Palmer was tasked with advising Sharma on improving the platform’s development tools and infrastructure. We do not know who will replace him yet.
