With a peak of over 222,000 concurrent players on Steam, Windrose has quickly become one of the breakout hits of the year. Kraken Express is currently preparing patches and new features to enhance the user experience.
First, a platform has been launched to allow players to report bugs and share their suggestions. Next, the upcoming update will address numerous issues.
The developer will resolve connectivity issues while optimizing the game’s performance and stability. CPU usage will be reduced on inactive clients and servers. Improved disk usage optimization during gameplay sessions is also on the agenda. Add to that over 40 new building blocks and more than 50 additional fixes.
Finally, once these fixes are complete, development will fully shift to the next major content patch. This will mainly introduce the « Ashlands » biome. Kraken Express will also enhance the existing systems in Windrose to add more depth to the gameplay.
