You’ll need creature enamel in Subnautica 2 for some intermediate crafting recipes that let you reinforce your vehicles, among other things. However, it’s not an easily identifiable material like copper or silver, and it’s easy to overlook initially in the vastness of the new area beyond the Alien Ruins. A handful of obnoxious fish also call the area home, so you’ll want to come prepared to get them away long enough for you to gather enamel.
