It’s almost time for the highly anticipated PlayStation State of Play June 2026 livestream to kick off, and we’re hosting the event here for our readers. Sony has promised 60+ minutes of PS5 news, updates, and announcements from “top studios around the world.”

PlayStation State of Play June 2026 livestream link and what to expect

The livestream embedded at the bottom of this article will kick off at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET / 11 p.m. CEST.

We typically ask our readers to keep their expectations in check, but something feels different about this event. For starters, Sony has been hyping it up, complete with a theatrical showing at the Alamo Drafthouse. And what’s more, there will be a special State of Play-themed menu for attendees to devour.

But let’s talk about what’s coming and what’s been rumored. We already know that Marvel’s Wolverine will be at the event, and we also have reason to believe that timed PS5 exclusive Silent Hill: Townfall will make an appearance, as it’s just been rated by ESRB ahead of the event.

There have been rumblings of Rayman announcements, so players should look out for those too. Additionally, Onimusha: Way of the Sword might get a release date at State of Play. If not, we certainly expect it in the upcoming Summer Game Fest, as the release date was recently leaked.

Bloober Team’s new Cronos game has also leaked, but we believe that one’s headed to the Summer Game Fest.

A new God of War game is heavily rumored alongside Break In — the reported rebranding of Fairgames$. We expect to see them both.

In terms of some less believable rumors, there’s been talk of a new inFamous game and Sly Cooper.

In case you miss the show, we’ll be back with the highlights tomorrow morning. Goodnight, and enjoy the show!
