Let’s get what players shouldn’t expect out of the way first: more information about the highly anticipated PS5 exclusive Marvel’s Wolverine. Although there’s a slight chance we’ll see a new trailer at the State of Play, developer Insomniac Games has clarified that it’ll share more information in Spring 2026.
In case you missed it, an official PS Store listing for Wolverine recently narrowed down its release window, suggesting a September 2026 launch month. So Spring/Summer updates make sense.
As for what players can expect, Bungie has confirmed that Marathon will show up. The game will release on March 5, so this makes sense. We’re also expecting to see Saros given its April release date.
In terms of rumors and speculations, there are rumblings again of a God of War announcement. However, it won’t be for a full-fledged game. Reliable insiders have been claiming since last year that Sony is working on a Metroidvania-style spin-off set in Greece.
