Warhammer Survivors is also stomping onto consoles later this year

Auroch Digital has announced that Warhammer Survivors will also be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, in addition to the previously revealed Steam release.

Warhammer Survivors is, quite plainly, a Warhammer-themed riff on Vampire Survivors. In fact, it’s more than that, as Auroch Digital has licensed the Vampire Survivors engine from Poncle to create this 40K and Age of Sigmar bullet heaven mash-up.

Also revealed are some of the playable characters from the Warhammer 40,000 universe that you can play as. In addition to Malum Caedo (the hero of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun), you also have:

• Chaplain Fo’Baran of the Salamanders Space Marine Chapter.
• Knight-Commander Pask, a Tank-ace who commands a Leman Russ Tank capable of crushing light foes beneath its tracks.
• The Legend of Catachan, a feared veteran of the Catachan Jungle Fighters.
• Marneus Calgar, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines, wielding the mighty Gauntlets of Ultramar.
• Commissar Sebastian Yarrick, the old man of Armageddon and bane to Orkoid.

And you’ll be able to make use of the following 40K weapons and abilities… automatically and constantly:

• D6 Dice – exploding dice inflicting damage determined by the number rolled
• Power Fist – a giant fist that swings in an arc around the player
• Gauntlets of Ultramar (Evolved) – an evolved version of the Power Fist, which unleashes a hail of bolter rounds with every swipe!
• Orbital Bombardment (Evolved) – A devastating barrage from a voidship, obliterating multiple targets and leaving nothing but scorched ruin in its wake.
• Emperor’s Wrath (Evolved) – a blazing aura of faith that scorches nearby foes with righteous vengeance.

They should all be a dab hand to battle back against the oncoming Orkish hordes, don’t you think?
