Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s Update 11 Launches in Late November, Adds Off-World PvE Operation

Even after celebrating its first anniversary and releasing the massive Update 10, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has more content incoming. Update 11 launches in late November and adds two new cosmetic packs – the Blood Angels Champion Pack and the Salamanders Cosmetic Pack.

There will also be a new Operation which takes place, surprisingly, off-planet and includes a new boss. Saber Interactive also clarified that additional Heroic Weapons would be added, which include the Thunder Hammer. If that wasn’t enough, you can now customize Bots in Operations, which means they’ll use your loadouts.

A public test server for Update 11 has been confirmed, so stay tuned for when it goes live. As for the future, there are plans for two Heroic weapons per archetype, additions to Siege Mode (including “reasons to come back to it” per game director Dmitriy Grigorenko) and new customization options, including, “Something we should have done long time ago, something we said we are going to do, but nobody noticed, and something we said we are never going to do.”

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out our review for the base game here or view the Year 2 roadmap here.
