Warcraft 3: Blizzard has relaunched the « classic » version via Battle.net

In January 2020, Blizzard Entertainment released Warcraft III: Reforged, much to the disappointment of fans of the original game. Broken promises, the removal of certain features, technical issues, and an extremely slow user interface were all factors that sparked outrage within the community.

Worse still, the American company had also removed the so-called « classic » version of Warcraft 3 from sale, forcing new players to buy the poor-quality remaster. Ultimately, Blizzard reversed its decision, as the original title has made a comeback on Battle.net.

The Legacy 1.29 version includes the single-player campaign and local multiplayer. Unfortunately, online features have not been retained. To play, you must launch Battle.net and select Warcraft 3 from the drop-down menu.
