On X, Geoff Keighley, the producer and host of Summer Game Fest, has started teasing the event a bit. For example, he shared a GIF showing steam (or smoke) coming out of a hole. Thus, some internet users are speculating that Valve is preparing something for the event.
While this should be taken with a grain of salt, we can imagine that the Steam Machine might be unveiled there with a release date. The most optimistic fans are even speculating about a possible appearance of Half-Life 3.
