It’s been a busy day for Microsoft, which is experiencing serious disruptions in its Azure services. These services are currently affected by a major outage.

More specifically, it is a global outage affecting the entire network of the American company, including Microsoft Office and, of course, Xbox servers. Obsidian has stated on social media that its games are no longer available for purchase and can no longer be installed on any platform.

We don’t have any further information at this time. The Azure support site (https://azure.status.microsoft/en-us/status) will be updated as the situation develops.

You’re welcome! It’s definitely a relief. It’s interesting to see how reliant gaming services have become on cloud infrastructure, though. Hopefully, this outage leads to improvements in their system for the future!
