Hogwarts Legacywas the first original Harry Potter video game idea outside of Quidditch sports games. It was not the first Harry Potter game to be an RPG though, as the Game Boy Color version of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and the Game Boy Advance version of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban were turn-based RPGs.
