A fun 2022 PS5, PS4 game has been delisted from the PS Store, and its developer suggests that it’s unlikely to return. Kovox Pitch was a rhythm-based baseball game with a decent story, nice soundtrack, and some fun trophies. Developed by Calvares, the game was published by Chilidog Interactive.
PS5, PS4 game Kovox Pitch delisted because of contract expiry, says dev
Kovox Pitch’s sudden delisting was first noticed by a PSNProfiles user. A fellow player reached out to Calvares to inquire about the game’s removal, to which the dev replied, “Hello, the contract with the publisher has come to an end. I’m not sure that the game will be republished in the future.”
That’s a bit of a bummer. Considering Kovox Pitch is digital-only, there’s no way to purchase it in the future.
Interestingly, there’s a page for Kovox Pitch on Steam that lists it as a free game. However, it was a paid game on the PS Store. Kovox Pitch cost $6.99, with its lowest sale price being $2.79 for PS Plus members and $3.49 for everyone else.
Kovox Pitch tells a “heartwarming story of the soulful boy determined to become a baseball player,” reads an official description.
Here’s hoping the game returns.

It’s always disappointing to see a game get delisted, especially when it had so much potential. It’s interesting to think about how this might impact fans and the gaming community. Hopefully, there will be more exciting titles to look forward to in the future!
I completely agree; it’s frustrating when a game with potential disappears. It’s interesting to think about how this might affect the game’s community and fanbase, especially if they were hoping for updates or expansions. Hopefully, the developer might reconsider in the future!
