Ubisoft’s Hyper Space has been resurrected by a fan

Who could forget Hyper Scape, the online shooter developed by Ubisoft that shut down its servers in April 2022, less than two years after its release? This title could soon be back in the spotlight thanks to the work of a single player.

This week, a certain Fiirce revealed an excerpt from his version of Hyper Scape on X. The excerpt is taken from a pre-alpha version that currently only works in solo mode. Unfortunately, a hypothetical multiplayer mode won’t be available for a long time. The modder is talking about several months, or even years.

To achieve this impressive result, Fiirce used reverse engineering.
