Ubisoft wants to focus on multiplayer for Far Cry

Although Ubisoft has yet to say anything about the next Far Cry, there will be a change in strategy for future installments. Yves Guillemot, CEO of the French publisher, confirmed this on stage at the New Global Sport Conference.

In his statement, Guillemot revealed that his teams will now focus on multiplayer for the next Far Cry games.

“Our goal for Far Cry [is] really to bring out the multiplayer aspects more, so that players can play for a long time.”

In addition to Far Cry 7, Ubisoft is reportedly working on a multiplayer extraction spin-off.
