Atari and Digital Eclipse made a rather unexpected announcement this week. To coincide with the June 17 theatrical release of Toy Story 5, Toy Story 3: Complete Edition has been announced for October 15 on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch 2, Switch, and PC.
This is a remaster of the game originally released in 2010, featuring graphics upscaled to 4K at 60 FPS. The story mode will make a comeback alongside the Toy Chest mode, which lets players explore a Western-style open world.
What’s more, a collection titled Toy Story: Retro Roundup has been announced for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, Switch 2, and PC. It features several Toy Story and A Bug’s Life games. All in all, there are 11 different versions will be playable, and comes with things such as rewind and cheat codes will be included. The release is scheduled for October 15, 2026.
