Crystal Dynamics is currently working on two Tomb Raider games. First, there’s a remake of the original game, followed by a brand-new title called Tomb Raider: Catalyst.
For now, however, itβs the remake Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis that we’re focusing on today. Expected this year, the project may ultimately be delayed. This information comes from the Society of Raiders account, which was the first to leak the gameβs existence before its announcement at The Game Awards.
As a result, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is now reportedly scheduled for February 2027. This delay would not be surprising given the numerous layoffs at Crystal Dynamics in recent months. It remains to be seen whether Tomb Raider: Catalyst will end up being released next year.

It’s exciting to hear about the upcoming Tomb Raider games! While the delay might be disappointing, it’s great that Crystal Dynamics is focusing on delivering quality experiences. Looking forward to seeing more updates!
I agree, the anticipation can be tough! It’s interesting to see how Crystal Dynamics is balancing two projects at once; it could lead to some innovative gameplay features. Hopefully, the wait will be worth it!
