Great news for Tides of Annihilation.
The upcoming title from Eclipse Glow Games will indeed be playable at Gamescom, marking a world premiere. It’s a post-apocalyptic single-player experience that, contrary to popular belief, isn’t a soulslike at all. In fact, it’s being billed as an alternative to Stellar Blade or Devil May Cry, so we can expect a fast-paced and technical combat coupled with a highly spectacular visual style, and challenging battles against gigantic bosses. We also know that it runs on the Unreal Engine 5.
This is, however, the first title developed entirely by Eclipse Glow Games. This China-based studio is certainly made up of industry veterans that have primarily contributed to other games, such as For Honor, Yakuza, and Assassin’s Creed.
