This week, we are getting some pretty exciting games both on consoles and PC. South of Midnight is coming to new platforms, Temtem: Swarm is getting its 1.0 update, and the frustratingly challenging Super Meat Boy 3D is also making its debut.

Here are this week’s must-play releases.

Hozy

South of Midnight

Legacy of Kain: Ascendance

Let’s move on to a fast-paced 2D action game featuring vertical movement and vampire powers. The world of Nosgoth serves as the setting, complete with stunning pixel art graphics and animated cutscenes.

Crown of Greed

This fantasy RTS, inspired by the classic Majesty, challenges us to use gold to corrupt our subjects and set bounties on heroes. The goal, of course, is to build a vast and powerful kingdom.

Who hasn’t dreamed of assembling racks, servers, and other switches? This simulator will also invite us to earn money using data and unlock equipment for our clients by spending XP. Suffice it to say that this title is aimed at data center enthusiasts (if such a thing exists).

Super Meat Boy 3D

The famous platformer with its notoriously high difficulty level returns in 3D. The gameplay remains the same, with deadly traps to avoid as you control a cube of meat on a quest to find his girlfriend.

Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together

As the name suggests, this game aims to offer an even richer culinary experience in both single-player and multiplayer modes. Players will need to create recipes, fulfill orders, and do everything they can to become the best restaurant chef.

About a year and a half after its early access debut, the roguelike action game is finally arriving in version 1.0. Players must still collect Temtems to defeat bosses by obtaining and upgrading their abilities. Online co-op is on the agenda.

Darwin’s Paradox

  • April 2, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC

Darwin the octopus embarks on an unforgettable journey inspired by the best animated films. The endearing and intelligent creature has escaped from an industrial complex. He’ll have to overcome traps and dangers in this platformer, adventure, and puzzle game.

Modulus: Factory Automation

  • April 2, 2026 on PC

We’re slowly nearing the end with this factory-building game where you have to cut, color, punch, and assemble 3D blocks. You’ll also need to design and optimize sprawling factories to fulfill orders on a global scale.

I Am Jesus Christ
