
This week looks to be fairly quiet, despite the arrival of the Starfield port on PS5, as well as the promising Road to Vostok, Morbid Metal, and Samson.

Starfield

The sci-fi RPG developed by Bethesda Game Studios is making a big splash on Sony’s console. It’s also getting a free update and its new paid DLC, “Terran Armada,” on the same date. Suffice it to say, players will have access to dozens of hours of content.

Get ready for a musical role-playing game in which you play as Cadence, who sets out to recruit musicians to form a band and become a star. The game features turn-based music-based battles.
Road to Vostok

This is a single-player survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world on the border between Finland and Russia. In addition to trying to survive, you’ll need to plan and prepare each expedition to make it to Vostok in one piece.
Peppered: an existential platformer
- April 7, 2026 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch
Available on PC for a year now, this existentialist platformer will make us question our very existence. The story invites us to put a stop to the god of death’s schemes. Dark humor, multiple endings, and an emotionally charged storyline await us.
Sigma Star Saga DX

Let’s continue our journey with this shoot ’em up that incorporates RPG elements. It will have us taking part in side-scrolling space battles with top-down planetary exploration phases.
Spark in the Dark

This hardcore dungeon crawler set in a dark fantasy universe challenges us to delve into the depths of a shadowy dungeon filled with secrets and dangers. Terrifying creatures will try to block our path.
Morbid Metal

Ubisoft returns with a hack-and-slash title featuring roguelite elements, where you must chain together combos and shred waves of deadly machines and bosses. Players will find themselves in a distant dystopian future where relentless battles unfold one after another.
Lay of the Land

This highly promising first-person sandbox adventure game is set in a fantasy world where everything is physically simulated. Players can use the environment to explore, loot, fight, and build their way through the game.
Samson
- April 8, 2026 on PC
In this urban action-adventure game, Samson returns to the city of Tyndalston. There, he must settle debts with dangerous individuals and rescue his sister along the way.
Pokémon Champions
- April 8, 2026 on Switch
This free-to-play game based on the famous franchise focuses on turn-based Pokémon battles in arenas. Players must collect as many creatures as possible and win battles to earn maximum rewards.
The Occultist
- April 8, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC
Next up is this horror action-adventure game in which an investigator specializing in the paranormal must travel to a cursed island to investigate his father’s disappearance. Numerous puzzles will punctuate this dark epic.
