There is an investigation ongoing about Rockstar Games’ union rights violations

The case surrounding the dismissal of around 30 Rockstar Games employees is far from over. The starry company is accused of violating union rights, as those who were fired were in the process of unionizing.

The situation has been raised in the British Parliament, and an investigation will be conducted. MP Chris Murray questioned UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer about this specific case. Murray recently attended a meeting with Rockstar executives. They failed to reassure him about the company’s compliance with labor laws.

Starmer said the matter would be examined with great care.

“Every worker has the right to join a trade union and we’re determined to strengthen workers rights and ensure they don’t face unfair consequences for being part of a union. Our ministers will look into the particular case that he [Murray] raises and will keep him updated.”
