Since inFamous: First Light in 2014, the franchise formerly developed by Sucker Punch has been on hold. However, there’s an ongoing rumor about the arrival of a brand-new project.
This comes from insider Jordan Middler via the VGC podcast. Unfortunately, his information remains very vague for now.
“There’s a sort of undercurrent of people who want a new inFamous. I get the feeling that something related to inFamous is happening somewhere at PlayStation right now.”
The game would therefore not be produced by Sucker Punch, which brought us Ghost of Yotei last year. Furthermore, Colin Moriarty of Last Stand Media says he noticed that the studio deleted its blog post stating that its teams no longer had any plans for inFamous.
Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet.
