For Christmas, Eric Barone gave Stardew Valley fans a little gift by releasing the Switch 2 version of the game. However, the America-only launch didn’t go as well as it was expected.
As of now, the Mouse controls do not work properly, and the crafting system is bugged. When crafting certain items, players may automatically consume another ones in their inventory. The dev has published a list of the items affected.
Barone has stated that he will wait until these issues have been fixed before releasing Stardew Valley for Switch 2 in Europe.

It’s great to see the excitement around the Switch 2 version of Stardew Valley! The holiday release must have been a nice surprise for fans, even if the wait continues for those in Europe. Looking forward to seeing how the game evolves with the upcoming patch!
