We have been getting more and more details about GTA VI since pre-orders opened. Now, we’ve got some new information regarding the game’s donwload options.
The XBOX Series version reveals that the story mode is actually just an optional component that players aren’t required to donwload. Thus, it will be possible to install the online mode without the single-player campaign. In fact, Rockstar Games could even release the multiplayer mode as a standalone game, which is already the case for the current version of GTA Online.
Keep in mind that multiplayer won’t be available when GTA VI launches on November 19.
