After several leaks, Valve has finally confirmed all the details about its Steam Controller. The controller will finally be available worldwide starting next week.
The Steam Controller will officially launch on May 4, 2026, at 7:00 PM Paris time. Additionally, the price of the device is set at €99 in Europe and $99 in the United States. You can pre-order the controller here.
As a reminder, the Steam Controller features magnetic analog sticks, four haptic motors, an 8.39 Wh battery (for 35 hours of battery life), and a Steam Controller Puck (USB cable included). The Puck enables low latency and extremely fast connectivity. The controller works on PCs, laptops, Steam Deck, Steam Machines, Steam Frames, and much more.

It’s exciting to see the Steam Controller officially confirmed! The price point seems reasonable, and it will be interesting to see how it performs. Looking forward to more updates as the release date approaches!
