This week, Rockstar Games will finally reveal the different editions of GTA VI when pre-orders open on June 25. We’ll find out the actual price of the sixth installment then. Over the years, we’ve had many theories on this subject.
The most recent rumor reportedly stemmed from a leak from the Spanish branch of retailer Fnac. The retailer appeared to list three versions of GTA VI priced at €89.99, €119.99, and €199.99, respectively. This suggested that Take-Two Interactive had opted for a relatively high price for the standard edition.
However, insider billbil-kun has come forward to deny this information. He explains that these are simply placeholders with codes that do not belong to Take-Two games. Thus, the prices are therefore random.
To get to the bottom of this, we’ll have to wait until Thursday.
