While all eyes are on Resident Evil Veronica, set to release in 2027, Capcom is already preparing the next remake, which could arrive as early as the following year.
We are, of course, talking about Resident Evil 0. According to insider Dusk Golem, the game was rebooted and restarted from scratch right in the middle of development. It is now reportedly being handled by Capcom Dev 1, the Japanese publisher’s main production team.
As a result, the Resident Evil 0 remake is expected to receive special attention from Capcom.
