The Rainbow Six Siege X servers are down following a hack

This weekend has been quite an eventful one for Ubisoft. The French publisher was forced to temporarily shut down the servers for Rainbow Six Siege X.

The servers were apparently hacked on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Users reported receiving large amounts of R6 credits, packs, and other exclusive items on their accounts. Random and unjustified bans were also carried out, affecting even streamers affiliated with the game.

In a statement posted on Rainbow Six Siege X‘s social media accounts, Ubisoft said it was looking for a solution to fix the problem. In the meantime, the servers and marketplace have been disabled.
