Considering that fans know nothing about the project, it makes sense that they’re more worried about the film itself and not a bonus scene that may or may not be attached to its credits. Specifically, there’s a fear that the Call of Duty film will be CoD in name only, going the route of the original Resident Evil movie saga and focusing on an entirely new cast, keeping game characters restricted to mere cameos. Similarly, many are worried that those behind the film won’t understand what they’re working with, throwing Black Ops and Modern Warfare heroes onto the same team and getting their personalities wrong. Even more are split on what subseries should be adapted; some will surely be in favor of the twist-filled Black Ops storyline and characters like Frank Woods getting the spotlight, while others will be more interested in Modern Warfare’s Captain Price and his war with Viktor Makarov being brought to the realm of live action. As always, though, my thoughts are on Call of Duty Zombies.
