Embark Studios has released update 1.29.0 for ARC Raiders this Tuesday, May 19. It includes several new features, such as weapons, modifications, and, of course, various bug fixes.
However, one specific change may not sit well with PC players. Denuvo is making its debut via this patch, aimed at combating the widespread cheating in ARC Raiders. For now, only a limited number of players is affected.
The studio has clarified that it will not be using Denuvo’s digital rights management (DRM) service. Additionally, significant work has been done to minimize the impact on game performance.
