Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds 2 is out later this month, and some new gameplay is available courtesy of Game Informer. After previously delving into different parts of the RPG, this footage showcases the very first world players encounter following the intro – Paradise Island. Check it out below.
Whether due to time or other forces, the location is inhabited by dangerous creatures, but this highlights the improved gunplay. The Protectorate is the one running Paradise Island, and you’ll have to deal with a guard to cross a drawbridge. There are multiple ways to do so, including finding “traitors” for a Senior Warden guarding the bridge to persecute in exchange for passage.
Another section involves helping out Minister Milverstreet of Auntie’s Choice, resulting in a stealth-focused mission. Opt to help someone else, however, and you’ll see a dramatically different mission.
The Outer Worlds 2 launches on October 29th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. For more details on the companions, check out this trailer.
