Announced in 2023, Silver Pines is a Metroidvania game published by Team17 and developed by Wych Elm. It is now expected to be released in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
The story of this horror survival game takes place in a small American village. Private detective Red Walker will face monsters and various puzzles to solve. He will investigate the disappearance of a musician named Eddie Velvet. The atmosphere of this title is somewhat reminiscent of the Silent Hill franchise.
Since its initial announcement, Silver Pines seems to have undergone numerous changes, particularly in terms of its graphics, which are now much more polished.
