The launch trailer for Battlefield 6 has non-stop action… and a little laugh at Call of Duty

Electronic Arts took advantage of the Sunday lull to release the live-action launch trailer for Battlefield 6… And let’s just say right away that the video put together by the American publisher doesn’t hold back!

In addition to offering us plenty of explosive footage, the trailer takes a jab at Call of Duty and its skins, which players don’t seem to really like. We easily recognize famous actors who end up getting blown up by real soldiers. This is a thinly veiled reference to the partnerships between Activision and celebrities to create paid content for Call of Duty, a practice that the franchise is expected to largely abandon with Black Ops 7.

Battlefield 6 will be released on October 10, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
