The Last of Us Day Had More for PC Players Than PS5

The Last of Us 2 PSN PC requirement

The Last of Us Day 2025 may have occurred last week, but celebrations are still taking place this week. Fans of the franchise were quick to note, though, that PC players seemed to have gotten a little more goodies this year.

What did The Last of Us Day 2025 feature?

Alongside some big news like The Last of Us Part II Remastered being put on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscriptions, Naughty Dog had some other surprises for fans. However, many online seemed to note that players on PC were getting slightly more to celebrate the big day than their PlayStation counterparts.

While PlayStation gamers did get the remastered game for free, it was PC players that got a ton of digital goods. Naughty Dog announced that graphic designer Jason Ferry made a number of wallpapers for both mobile and desktop users to celebrate The Last of Us Day.

Naughty Dog also revealed a number of animated avatars and avatar frames for Steam users, that can be bought in the Steam Points Shop. The avatars and frames can be used in conjunction, and left some fans unhappy that PlayStation users didn’t much in the way of digital items.

There is still a ton of goodies to partake in no matter what platform you play on. For those looking for physical collectibles, Naughty Dog has released a new Bloater statue in partnership with Dark Horse. New plushies from YouTooz are also out, as is a new shark plushie from Fangamer.
