This week, the latest State of Play treated us to some major announcements, including Marvel’s Wolverine, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Until Dawn 2, and of course God of War: Laufey. The show, which aired on June 2, drew a huge crowd!

On the PlayStation YouTube channel, the event generated 4.8 million views (for its main English-language broadcast) compared to 3.4 million for the February 2026 State of Play. According to data from Stream Charts, this was the most-watched State of Play since the program’s inception, with a record of over 3 million live viewers. This figure includes the audience across various platforms on all channels.

Additionally, the show averaged 2.4 million viewers and 4,740 unique broadcast channels. On the PlayStation YouTube channel alone, a peak of 848,700 concurrent viewers was recorded. Finally, all the State of Play events have accumulated over 4.4 million hours of viewing time.
