“The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition”, a mod for CD Projekt RED’s RPG, will soon get a new version. It will be available in 2026.
Before that, the project manager has revealed some new details. Thanks to a video, we can see a much greater level of detail in the characters, all of which will be reworked. This will also be the case for Geralt and Roach’s equipment and armor. In addition, static objects in the base game (such as the fabric of certain tents and some of the vegetation) will be animated.
The current edition of the mod, “The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition”, is available for download on Nexus Mods now. It weighs in at around 12 GB.
