Resident Evil Showcase Confirmed for January 15th with New Resident Evil Requiem Gameplay

As promised before closing out 2025, Capcom will offer a deeper dive into Resident Evil Requiem with its next showcase. Imaginatively titled the Resident Evil Showcase, it will air on January 15th at 2 PM PT via YouTube and Twitch.

Fans can expect new gameplay and details for Requiem over the course of the 12-minute broadcast. A brief teaser is available, which sees Grace Ashcroft looking at Leon’s gun and aiming down the sights to shoot at some zombies. Meanwhile, Leon avoids a chainsaw before using his new tomahawk to stop it.

Outside of more indoor gameplay with the two protagonists, the showcase could finally shine a light on the rumored open levels that Leon will traverse. With Capcom and Porsche tying up, it’s looking all the more likely that he’ll use his vehicle to traverse the world and investigate.

Of course, with Grace’s encounters with the new stalker-type enemy only making up a small part of the overall experience, you have to wonder if there are other surprises in store. Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. While previous entries received demos ahead of launch, it’s not currently planned here as Capcom focuses on finishing the game.
