The God of War TV series gets a new director from The Boys and Shōgun

Amazon MGM Studios is currently working on a TV series adaptation of God of War. It’s a very ambitious project being carried out alongside Sony Pictures Television and showrunner Ronald D. Moore.

This week, Deadline announced that Emmy Award-winning director Frederick E.O. Toye will be directing the first two episodes. He is known for his work on The Boys and Shōgun, as well as Fallout.

It’s also important to note that the God of War series has already been renewed for a second season.
