The former lead producer of World of Warcraft has joined Riot Games’ upcoming MMO

In 2020, Riot Games confirmed that it was developing an MMO set in the League of Legends universe. This ambitious project then disappeared from view somewhat due to a development reboot in 2024.

Now, Raymond Bartos, who had been working as lead producer on World of Warcraft since March 2022, is joining the Riot Games project. He will be putting all his expertise to work as senior producer on the company’s MMO.

For now, there is no release date for the upcoming game from the creators of League of Legends.
