While numerous clips from Resident Evil Requiem have already been circulating online, Capcom has so far refrained from addressing one of the most persistent rumors.
Of course, this is all about the possible presence of Leon Kennedy in the game. According to insider Dusk Golem, this iconic character from the franchise appears “in two small ways” in the game’s first trailer. He also states (subjectively) that players will mainly play as the former Raccoon City police officer rather than Grace Ashcroft.
“Leon is in the first trailer, in two small ways, but they’re minor and be more obvious when looking back. While this is subjective, I believe with how the game is structured that more of the game will be played as Leon by most players from how I understand it.”
Resident Evil Requiem will be released on February 27, 2026.
