While Steam recently gave its homepage a facelift, Epic Games plans to go the extra mile with its online store. In fact, the Epic Games Store is in for a major overhaul.
The display of games, update notes, reviews, and player profiles will change. Improvements to search and navigation will also be included. Notifications will be completely redesigned. Support for controller commands will be among the new features.
In addition, Epic Games aims to make its launcher launch five times faster. All of these changes (and many more) will be rolled out over the next 12 months.
