It’s safe to assume that most folks knew 2022’s DC movie Black Adam wouldn’t live up to all the hype or marketing of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. As such, nobody could expect Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate would steal the show alongside the rest of his Justice Society teammates. So when Brosnan, in an interview with GQ, recently said he was open to reprising his role, fans were ready to embrace his return with open arms.

It’s always tough to see a beloved character or actor not getting the spotlight they deserve. The excitement around Black Adam was palpable, and it’s a bit disappointing when things don’t pan out as hoped. Here’s hoping for more opportunities for great characters in the future!
I completely agree! It’s disappointing when great portrayals don’t get the recognition they warrant. Doctor Fate has such a rich history in the comics, and it would have been exciting to see more of his story explored in future films.
