The casting for Wolfenstein 3 has reportedly begun

Almost nine years after the second installment and seven years after the rather disappointing spin-off Youngblood, MachineGames is apparently bringing back the Wolfenstein franchise with a new entry.

The website MP1st claims to have discovered information related to the casting for Wolfenstein 3. The game is currently in development at the Swedish studio under the code name Valkyrie. Details about the game’s plot have also been uncovered.

Tom Keegan will serve as performance director and Emily Schweber as casting director. Schweber has already worked on previous installments in the series, while Keegan worked on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. An actress is being sought to play the character of Sofiya, an 8- to 11-year-old Ukrainian orphan who, along with her dog Ralph, forms a bond with William BJ Blazkowicz and accompanies him on his travels.

“While initially suspicious and traumatized by war, she blooms under the care of the resistance (possibly referring to the Kreisau Circle) as a strong-willed survivor.”

Finally, motion capture is expected to begin in April 2026 and continue through 2027.
