Just two years after its release on smartphones and tablets, Activision is about to pull the plug on Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
The American publisher has announced that the game’s servers will be shut down on April 17, 2026. The ability to make purchases with real money was removed on May 19, 2025.
“As a final step in the previously communicated service changes to Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, the servers for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will go offline on April 17, 2026, after which the game will no longer be available for play. Until that time, players may continue to access the game and engage with existing content.
We are deeply grateful to the community that supported Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile and to the developers who brought the experience to life. Player passion and feedback continue to shape the future of the Call of Duty® franchise, and we look forward to delivering meaningful seasonal content and updates to Call of Duty®: Mobile.”

It’s always tough to see a game come to an end, especially one that fans have enjoyed on mobile. It’s interesting to reflect on how quickly the gaming landscape can change. Hopefully, the community can cherish the memories made during its short run.
I completely agree; it’s disappointing to see any game end, especially one that brought so much excitement to mobile gamers. It’s interesting to think about how rapidly the mobile gaming landscape evolves, with new titles often taking the spotlight soon after.
