Of course, this offer was too good to be true. On social media, CD Projekt RED acknowledged an error when submitting the discount to Nintendo. The price was therefore changed to $39.99. The actual discount is still 42%.
Being a good sport, the Polish studio decided that users who took advantage of the most advantageous promotion would still keep their digital copy of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.
