The least we can say is that February will be packed with video game releases, which is why we’re dividing our selection into two articles. While most of these titles aren’t particularly well known or eagerly awaited, they’re still worth checking out. Let’s dive into our first list of the best games coming in February 2026!
Let’s start off the month with Aces of Thunder, a first-person aerial combat game where you fly historic aircraft from the world wars, with solo missions and a multiplayer mode. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is a modernized remake of the classic JRPG of the same name, with reworked graphics, an epic story, and turn-based combat. In a different genre, Carmageddon: Rogue Shift marks the return of the famous destructive racing series, this time with a roguelite structure where each attempt is different, featuring violent races, mounted weapons, and persistent upgrades.
Multiplayer titles are not to be outdone at the start of this month. PUBG: Blindspot is a tactical spin-off of the PUBG series, focusing on 5v5 battles from a top-down perspective, combining strategy and shooting. Bandit Trap, meanwhile, offers asymmetrical and chaotic 3v1 gameplay in which a team of bandits must rob the house of the last player, who has had the luxury of placing traps everywhere.
Our selection continues with MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice, an action game based on the anime by the same name, featuring intense battles between heroes and villains with various powers. If infiltration is at the heart of your gaming pleasure, then Styx: Blades of Greed is the game for you. Stealth and thief tactics will be the order of the day in this dark fantasy world. This is perhaps one of the most eagerly awaited releases of early February 2026: Nioh 3, of course. This is the sequel to the action RPG series of the same name, featuring challenging combat against yokai and supernatural enemies, combining strategy and fast-paced action.
It’s also time to welcome Chapter 5 of Poppy Playtime. Players find themselves thrust even further into the macabre depths of the factory, pursued by Huggy Wuggy, Playtime’s security system. In terms of expansions and DLC, Age of Empires II: The Last Chieftains plunges us into the heart of medieval South America, where history and folklore intertwine in epic campaigns. High mountains, dense jungles, and vibrant landscapes await, in addition to three new civilizations. Finally, there’s The Sims 4 and its Legacy and Royalty expansion, which allows you to gain prestige and become the most powerful family in the county. But beware of the scandals that may erupt with success!
That concludes our first selection of the best games for February 2026. While most of the month’s most anticipated games will be found in our second list, the ones presented here are interesting to discover and bring a breath of fresh air. See you tomorrow for more!
