In early November, AYANEO announced some of the technical specifications of its NEXT II portable. It will feature a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor coupled with a Radeon 8060S iGPU based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture. Its performance will be similar to that of an RTX 4060.
However, there was still a big question mark over the screen. We now know that the console will be equipped with a 9-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2400 × 1504 pixels and an aspect ratio of approximately 3:2. The refresh rate is 165 Hz.
Add to that a battery with relatively long battery life and large TMR joysticks.
This sounds like an exciting development for handheld gaming! The addition of an OLED screen should really enhance the overall experience. Looking forward to seeing how it performs in action!
