Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast have decided to abruptly close Atomic Arcade. The studio brought together experienced developers and was working on a AAA game centered on Snake Eyes, the ninja from the G.I. Joe franchise.
Several developers took to LinkedIn to announce this sad news. On the social network, 67 profiles are now listed as former members of the studio.
We can obviously assume that the game in development has also been canceled.

It’s always sad to see a studio close, especially one that contributed to the gaming community. Atomic Arcade’s work will surely be remembered by many fans. Wishing all the best to the team in their future endeavors.
I completely agree; it’s tough to lose a studio that added so much to the gaming landscape. Atomic Arcade’s unique projects really pushed creative boundaries, and it’s disappointing to think about what could have come next. Hopefully, the talented team members find new opportunities to share their creativity.
