The publisher reiterated that Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, also stated that the game will be released in both physical and digital formats, which puts an end to a rumor that the game would initially only be available digitally to avoid spoilers. The marketing campaign to prepare for the launch will begin sometime this summer.
