Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is Getting A New Cosmic Horror-Themed Expansion on December 15th

If you haven’t had enough of Awaken Realms’ take on the Scrolls-like genre, then maybe it’s time to drown in the deep. Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon will receive a new paid expansion, Sanctuary of Sarras, on December 15th at 1 PM EST. Retailing for $15, it sees players venturing to Sarras, which offers more than its share of cosmic horror.

Touted as a “whole new act,” Sanctuary of Sarras offers a brand new story with 10 to 15 hours of gameplay, 12 new enemies, over 20 hand-crafted dungeons and “interiors,” and four new bosses. You’ll encounter new characters and side quests, discover over 100 pieces of equipment (armor and weapons), and more.

There’s even a new progression system with three skill trees that require activating shrines for skill points. While you can only have one active at a time, they’ll level up concurrently.

To venture to Sarras, players need to unlock Cuanacht in Act 2. Stay tuned for more details on the expansion in the coming days, and check out our review for the base game.
